About OKDiscGolfer.com

disc golf puns

OKDiscGolfer.com is the brainchild of Wes Littlefield, an amateur disc golfer from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Wes discovered disc golf at a young age but didn’t take it seriously until college as a way to fuel his competitive spirit, whether he was competing against friends and family or himself.

However, being self-taught, Wesley’s disc golf skills soon plateaued, so he dove into ways to lower his strokes.

He found very little help online and didn’t have the money or time to hire a professional coach. Thankfully, YouTube has several excellent disc golf channels, which Wesley picked up many skills.

Once he had understood and learned proper disc golf techniques, Wesley began spending hundreds of hours testing which gear worked best for his style of play.

While if you ask him, Wesley will tell you he’s by no means ready for the PDGA Pro Tour, he has been collecting disc golf gear and knowledge that he enjoys sharing with others.

Thomas Godwin is a full-time freelance writer, U.S. Marine, and an avid outdoorsman. He’s been disc golfing for over a decade. His first disc was a beaten-in, Innova Wraith.

Which he used as his driver, mid-range, and putter.

He’s played in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia at every course he can find.

When he’s not on the course, he’s writing for OKDiscGolfer.com, spending time with his family, and building his Trilogy bag.

Daniel Hicks is a college senior attending the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.

He is a former collegiate baseball player who picked up thesport after hanging up his cleats and since has been full throttle playing disc golf.

An avid tournament player and form nerd Daniel tries to bring the same use of film study and analysis in baseball to disc golf.

He also is active on Instagram where he makes content while he is on the course. When he is not playing disc golf, he is probably working at school or watching sports.
